I purchased this Ambrane power bank specifically for wireless charging, believing it would work as advertised. The product listing states that it supports iPhone 12 and above, but nowhere does it clearly mention that it only supports the older Qi wireless charging standard and not the newer Qi2 standard used by the latest iPhones (like iPhone 15).The Issue:• If you are buying this for wired charging, it works fine. No complaints there.• However, if you are planning to use wireless charging, be aware that it does NOT support full-speed 15W wireless charging on newer iPhones that use Qi2. Instead, you’ll only get 10W charging, not the advertised 15W.• This critical detail about Qi vs. Qi2 was not clearly mentioned on the product page, leading to confusion.Customer Support Experience:After realizing the issue, I contacted Ambrane’s customer support. Instead of acknowledging the lack of clear information in their listing, they simply told me that the problem is due to my iPhone running iOS 18 and using Qi2 wireless charging. This is misleading because it has nothing to do with iOS but rather with their power bank’s outdated charging standard.Additionally, I had to spend ₹340 just to ship the product to their service center, only for them to send it right back to me without a proper resolution. They refused to offer a refund or a proper replacement.Final Verdict:If you only need this for wired charging, it’s fine. But if you are looking for a power bank that supports fast wireless charging for newer iPhones (like iPhone 14 and 15), this is NOT the right choice. The product description should have been clearer about this limitation.This will be the first and last Ambrane product I purchase, and I will be advising my family and friends to avoid this brand as well. Their lack of transparency and poor customer service have left a bad impression.Rating: 0/5 for wireless charging.

Not working wireless charging with iPhone 11

This is a great power bank for the price. It has a premium look and works perfectly with MagSafe to charge my iPhone. It does get a bit warm after extended use, but that’s expected with most MagSafe power banks. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.

Like:- The best part is the price I paid: pretty good value for money given my Apple Magsafe power bank- Most importantly, my phone doesn't heat up like my Anker Magsafe power bank does- No complaints regarding the capacity, my iPhone 13 Mini works well with it- Holds charge well enough, so it has a reasonably impressive standby time- Good build quality- Charing lights are easy to read and are handyDislike/room for improvement:- Include a stand (the way Anker does it) - would be wonderful to have it standing next to the laptop/desk- the USB-C and USB-A ports are placed at the bottom, it would have been ideal to have them by the side since I use a stick-in stand, I would have loved the ports to be at the side

It’s compact, lightweight, and has a sleek design.However, I noticed that the battery drains quite quickly. Even though it charges my phone efficiently, the power bank itself runs out of charge faster than I expected, which limits its usability for extended periods or multiple charges.If the battery life could be improved, this would be a near-perfect product. It’s still a decent buy for those who need a MagSafe-compatible power bank for quick and short-term use.

It’s good nd fast charging value for money

I purchased this wireless power bank to conveniently charge my phone on the go without cables. While the wireless charging function works, I quickly noticed a significant heating issue during use.The power bank gets noticeably hot after 15–20 minutes of wireless charging. This is especially concerning when it's in a backpack or pocket, where ventilation is limited. The heat is enough to warm the phone's back panel and, in one instance, triggered a thermal warning on my device. Wired charging, on the other hand, is much cooler and stable.I've also noticed that the battery drains faster when wireless charging is used—likely due to energy loss in the form of heat. This undermines the efficiency and overall battery life of both the power bank and the device being charged.
