These are great for the price I paid. They are real wax, the flame is plastic and doesn't move. The flickering is OK, more dimming than flickering. But for the price, I'm happy with what I got.

Ok. So let me start off by saying I have been through various brands of flameless candles. There have been some good - and some bad. The last ones that I purchased were from Hobby lobby and they would last on Two AA batteries for about two weeks. It was really difficult to turn them on / off yas ou have to flip them over and hit the switch etc. These candles are real wax, they look authentic and very realistic with the flicker option. Every candle worked perfectly right out of the box - and the remote is sooooo convenient. Be careful when you order these however because the remote is stuck inside of the packaging - I missed it first. Don't throw the box out with the remote (as I may or may not have done)!!!Great product - already recommended these to 2 friends!

I don’t know what is going on I tried them out this morning and they all worked perfectly, I came home from work try to turn them on while I watch some Halloween themed movies and two of them refuse to turn on... I double check that both of them were switched to “ON” they both were... had just put new batteries in all of them... thought maybe the batteries weren’t good... they had two different kinds of batteries in them so it wasn’t the specific batch of batteries that I was thinking.... put brand new batteries in both of the candles that refused to light... and they still aren’t working... I’m very disappointed... I don’t know what to do I love these and I don’t want to return them... the rest of them are wonderful... stars deducted for broken candles...

I can't find my original review, which wasn't great. But I'd like to update that. One of the battery covers was missing from my original order. I asked if a replacement cover could be sent. Instead, I was sent a whole new candle (with cover) as well as an extra remote! That was VERY generous, and I'm grateful! The lack of a 5th star is only because these candles are a little "cheesier" than they appear to be in the photos. The "flame" is pretty big, and fake-looking because the seams from the plastic mold show. I've seen nicer ones, but probably not at this price. You get what you pay for. I'm very satisfied.

Not bad for the price. Annoyed that one of the candles does not work. Would recommend only because you're getting 9 candles for a decent price. Wished the light was brighter.

These candles are fabulous! Used them for the aisle in my daughter’s wedding which was in an historic building where they did not allow an open flame. Also used them for an open circle where they stood for the ceremony. They flicker and look so natural. Of all the boxes I ordered there were only 2 candles that had a problem. I notified the company and no questions asked, they immediately sent replacements. I would highly recommend these candles!!! The remote works great. Flick of a switch and 72 candles all came on at once!

These candles astound me for their price. Not only was the 2-hour timer EASY to set, and the candles "flicker" in response to any button you push recognizing your command which is helpful. These little buggers REMEMBERED the time of day, and continue to re-turn-on at the same evening time for 2 hours. Wonderful soft/warm lighting for hard to reach places in hanging porcelain lanterns in our bedroom. VERY Pleased with these, and my rechargeable batteries are holding up well, so they do not excessively draw power.

They're just o.k. The flicker isn't as realistic as I think it should be, and the worst part is they react to my television's volume control - so every time I turn up the volume on my TV the candles turn off and on and reset the timer settings.
