Another well done fantasy/sci-fi graphic short story anthology
Normally I do a short review of each story in these anthologies but I am pressed for time. In general this was a well done collection of graphic novel short stories. As with the last few volumes there was a mix of amazing and just okay stories. As with previous volumes my favorites continue to be the stories by Kazu Kibuishi but I enjoyed some of the other short stories in here as well. There is some amazing artwork (and some not so amazing artwork). In general I feel like most of the stories were well done.Overall I would recommend all the Flight graphic novels to those who enjoy sci-fi and fantasy graphic novels. I feel like the middle volumes were the best (3, 4, 5) and that the last few haven’t been quite as awesome. However they are all very good and feature a wide (and interesting) variety of graphic novel fantasy short stories.

Flight, Vol. 8 is Fantastic
"Flight Volume 8" is a great ending to a wonderful series. This collection of short, graphic stories from a variety of artists contains something for all ages to enjoy. You don't read the stories to find out what happens; You read the stories slowly to take in the often beautifully imagined landscapes, settings and characters. The visuals do most of the storytelling. All of the stories add unique flair to this collection. Some branch off into quirky humor, others are very surreal- but all of them are touching. You see yourself in many of these characters. My favorites include "The Hollow Men," "New Year's Day," "Echoes" and "Encore." Check it out, this is a collection of stories you will often pull off your shelf to enjoy again and again.

Worth buying to read and keep to read again.
As with all the other volumes, this is filled with wonderful graphics and stories - something for everyone, but not necessarily all for everyone.

excellent as always
this volume offers a great mix of humor and magic as always.i couldnt wipe a silly smile off my face while reading the book.you get the stars of previous volumes - Jellaby, Ken Shuri, Malinky Robot and my favorite Tree-head and Igloo-head.it is sad as this is supposed to be the last Flight book.

kind of disappointing
i have to say that for the most part this was one of the most disappointing of the flight compilations. none of the stories particularly stand out in my mind as memorable (not even terrible or incredible). in other words, most of the stories felt very mediocre. i have been collecting all of the compilations from the beginning so i don't mind having bought this one, i just can't really say much good about it.

My Review
This turned out to be something that I have really enjoyed and know others would like it just as I have.I have all 8 volumes of these anthology's. They will be read more than once and it will be staying in my collection always.

A flight further than imagination
Having the rest of the volumes this definitely completes the collection so far. I personally love the series as I am the comic book fan who does not love the standard superhero tales! If you are one too, this book is sure for you! Let your imagination fly!

A good compilation of stories
Pretty colours and interesting stories by different artists. Some I like and some I don't, pretty normal. I like to read once in a while these kind of compilations as they showcase different artists and you might pick up a new one to follow.

The final in a GREAT series
All 8 volumes of this series are fantastic. A wonderful selection of amazing art and evocative stories from a great collection of artists and writers. A MUST have for any comic fan

Tueur ninja !

It's okay
Still a good book but the previous books are better...better story and better characters. The stories are not as interesting before.
