This tool is great! Pulls out brad nails out of the back of trim like a champ. Also great at pulling out staples from sub floor!

I had hundreds of difficult nails to pull for some renovations. This tool has already paid for itself in the first 3 days because I have pulled at least 400 nails with this thing and it's awesome. Money well spent! Highly recommend. I will update this review if anything changes, but for now, 10/10.

These "nail puller/end cutters" are nicely made. The rubber handles are fit well to the tool. They are solid and the jaws are well machined. They meet well with no offset and the hinge is smooth with no binding. The casting is clean without pock marks or bumps.They work well for pulling nails if the nail head is "proud" of the wood. They are not going to reach down into the wood for the nail head without doing a fair amount of damage to the surface of the wood, but, if you can get a grip on the head of the nail, these will allow you to make short work of pulling a common nail.The cutting edge is sharp for an inexpensive tool. It easily cuts wire and thin material and holds its edge. I do believe it would take the grip of a gorilla to cut off a framing nail, but, I believe it could be done. I would not want it to cut through a nail too easily. That would make it very difficult to use as a puller.At this price point it is a good value. Is it a precision tool valued at $50+? No. But, at the current price of $10.85, it is a versatile tool well worth a place in my toolbox.
