lovely and comforting
I got this for a dear friend whose late husband was named "Henry." SHe loves it. She told me she pulls it out and reads it again almost every day. The humour running thru it keeps it from being cloying. I love it, too, as my grandfather's name was also "Henry."Recommend, but, it depends on the outlook of the person you give it to, of course.

Beautifully written book
Found out about this book when it came home in the kids school bag, and was so good I had to order a copy for home. We both absolutely loved this book.

Lovely Gift, but ...........
Our 2 year old granddaughter loves the tea set and plays with it all the time. Only problem is that the lid falls off the teapot every time she 'pours' a cup of tea! We have taught her to use her other hand to keep the lid on but she now holds the teapot in one hand, with her fingers over the lid instead of using the handle!

My Henry
An excellent book by Judith Kerr in the usual size of 11" x 9" approximately. Beautifully illustrated and a poignant tale, but not sad, of the adventures of a dead husband and his living wife. A good buy.
