The media could not be loaded.  Wanting to plan an activity for 10 kids (ages 5-12) during a camping trip. I came up with the idea of making tie dye t shirts. Then they will all have a fun matching shirt to wear while camping! This kit includes 24 different color dyes!!! I would recommend doing this outside-because mixing the dye up consists of filling the bottles with water then shaking them-some of the bottles leaked a little…so be careful where you do it. The set up and clean up of this activity is much more time consuming than the actual dying…then we put our dyed garments in ziplock bags and let them sit over night. After washing and drying the dyes stayed nice and bright! I would recommend this kit for tie dying. The kids had a blast & looked so cute!!!

I used 4 colors to start with to tie dye 16 shirts and have left over dye. Then used a couple more bottles to dye 2 more shirts and couldn’t have been happier with the results! Highly recommended!

In the Mid to Late sixties, they used small boxes of fabric dyes to create the hippie culture of tie dyes. I think someone must have made a mistake and dropped a few colors in the washer, and they came out so colorful it became a thing. You can go anyway you want with these, the artistic route, or the random route. They make some nice looking t-shirts, hoodies, sweats etc. 24 colors is almost overkill, so you can make something unique for almost anyone. This is for a friend, and I have few things useful for dying, but she seems to like it. Applied it to a new light colored hoodie, and will use to make others for Christmas presents. The only use I'd have for it it to dye underwear right now, and I'm not sure I'd like the look. The look of a hoodie with lavender, red and blue streaking and blending together is a nice calming statement. You can of course get more loud with lots of reds greens and yellows as well. A far cry from the old boxed dye I think was called Rit or something like that. Recommended.

A hot mess

This was easy to use for a beginner (me). I had never tie dyed anything on my own before but I had a bachelorette party to prepare for and we wanted the bride to have a tie-dyed shirt representing each color the bridal party was wearing that day. This kit had a lot of different colors so I was able to do just that and still have a lot of colors leftover, unused! I have now made over 10 shirts, mostly size 2-3x and have over half of my dye left to use.I left the shirts sit overnight before rinsing, then washing a few times and finally drying. The colors stayed very vibrant. I think this is a great value for so many colors.

This is a very comprehensive kit with lots of colors. Makes it fun to play with kits. Just be prepared, even if you have a design in mind the kids will do what they want to do and mix how they want to mix and the result will not be as you imagined.I like the spray top and the applicators. Very good kit with lots of colors.

The colors has to be mixed before using. The instructions are clear and precise. This would be a cool project to do with the kids.
