This over throw/kimono was exactly what I was looking for over my baby shower dress! I just wanted something to accent my dress and this worked great! I am 5’3-5’4ish and weight in this picture was about 186lbs (33 weeks Incase any Pregos need to know). My pre-pregnancy weight was actually 190lbs wearing XL or 14-16 at baseline; I lost weight in the beginning due to nausea/vomiting. Based off reviews and looking through the FAQ’s I went with “X-Large (fits like US large)” and it fit how I needed it to. I just wanted something to over throw and accent my dress so I wasn’t able to fully close it and I was okay with that. But it did not feel too tight or anything either. I was very comfortable wearing this. I have attached a picture hoping to help others as the reviews and FAQ’s helped me choose the correct size! Incase anyone needs to know: I actually took my hips & bust measurements before hand after googling how to correctly measure and my measurements came out to be: Bust- 44.5in & hips- 44in.

I went by the initial reviews that posted it ran a bit small and purchased an x large. For reference: I am 5'5 and 145lbs. I wanted it to fit like a kimono should- slightly loose, but the XL was just too big. I ended up exchanging it for a medium. I love the detail of the lace, the tassels are well sewn. The cover up gives that hobo chic look i was looking for. I cant wait to wear it, definitely recommend, but dont upsize too much.

First of all, let me just say that this is a beautiful item. It's made in China, so it definitely runs on the small side. I wear a medium but ordered extra large because, in my experience, their extra large isn't even close to what we consider extra large. (Just for reference, I am 5'8" and weigh 138 lbs. and wear a 36B. Pretty average, I would say.)The first thing I noticed when I received it was that the package it was in had a long slit across it (inner and outer packaging). I was afraid that this damage to the packaging was also going to extend through to the garment but it did not. The second thing I noticed was the smell; the garment itself smelled like it has been in storage for a long time. I'm not saying that it was; I am saying this is how it smelled. It might just be the combination of the garment material and the type of plastic bag it came in, but it was very noticeable. The garment has been hanging in my laundry room since I received it and the smell has slowly dissipated, so I'm thankful for that because I'm hoping to wear it out to dinner next week.My reason for the 4 stars is because of the need to air the garment before wearing and the packaging. This is pretty delicate material. I think the manufacturer should take greater measures to protect it from damage while in storage and transit because you won't want to send this back. It's truly an eye-catching garment. Enjoy!

Product very cute over bathing suit or sundress...Slides around on shoulders due to smooth texture of knit, but that's to be expected. Corrected issue by slipping 1/8" black ribbon through lace holes on left and right side of front opening of garment at mid-bust level and tied in bow. Works beautifully. I am a M-L size and was sent an XL which worked well but indicates garment runs just a bit small. Still great purchase and looks beautiful.

I bought a small, I am 5'2" 120lbs. Its not too baggy but not too tight around the shoulders. I bought it for a boudoir photo shoot and it was super cute. I had it in a pond and it got a little dingy but washed out white again in one wash. I did not put it in the dryer because I was worried it would get ruined. Great quality, the material is heavy like a good quality thread (but not too heavy). Looks super cute with shorts and a tank :)

This kimono is absolutely perfect! I wear it over t-shirts, dressy tops, tank tops and dresses. You could use it as a swim cover-up but I think it's too pretty for that! It is very feminine and even though there is a lot of "tassel" on the sleeve, it doesn't seem to get caught on anything or tangle at all. Though it does sometimes drag into stuff (watch your dinner plate and any candles that may be burning nearby). It fits a bit large so you can probably size down.

A black lacy cover up that is modest enough that I feel comfortable wearing it in a bikini but shows enough skin through the lace that I felt pretty and not prude-y. Great value, seemed like a decent quality, and very comfortable. I got a lot of compliments on this cover up. I sized up and got a 2XL, and had plenty of room. If you're on the fence, I would recommend taking the leap. It's worth it.

I really liked this beach cover up! I personally think that you could add this to any outfit to change it up! It's really pretty and it is super flowly which is exactly what I was looking for! My only complaint is washing. I accidentally put this through the washer and it got a little messed up but it isn't anything really noticeable.
