ECCOMen's Irving Shoe

A slightly different version of a shoe I have bought and worn over several years. These appear to have the appearance, quality and comfort I have come to expect from Ecco. I have no hesitation in recommending.

Lovely shoes, looks & feels nice & comfy.

Ecco's idea - a good one - is to model an everyday, leather shoe on a sports shoe. A previous iteration of the Ecco shoe resembled my New Balance tennis shoes (though I believe a Nike shoe was the inspiration). The current design resembles my lightweight running shoes. I'd prefer a shoe with a stronger sole and a stouter, waterproof upper; the soles of my new Ecco shoes provide inadequate cushioning and the uppers are thin and scuff easily. In my view, Ecco has yet to design the perfect compromise between an ordinary shoe and a sports shoe. So far as I can see, however, the present design has no rival; I've bought two pairs.

Very comfortable and highly recommended. Please note that the fit is narrow and it is recommended that you order a slightly larger size than you would usually wear. I usually wear a size 10 and ordered an 11 and the shoes are a perfect fit.

This is my second pair just brilliant, so light and flexible

Look good. However the fit is very slim making these the most uncomfortable Ecco shoe I have owned. They nip around the inside of the heel where there is a seam which stands out. They have not stretched like leather shoes should. A lot of money for a shoe to be passed on to a nephew.

I thought the days were over when new shoes removed the skin off your heels. These shoes are a snug fit. Never had the problem with other manufacturers. Goodbye Ecco

I stand for a lot of the day, so need light and comfortable formal shoes. After buying two unsuitable pairs, I happened upon these Ecco shoes And am exceptionally pleased. They are the best work shoes I have ever had.

Shoes look nice. Length is good but the width is a bit snug. I hope they loosen up a bit.Update. After wearing these for some time, my conclusion is not the most comfortable pair of shoes.Very minimal cushioning in the sole. And still a bit narrow. Should have continued you the Rockport get your kicks style(very comfy). Lesson learned. I'll probably donate these to charity.
