Nikwax Waterproofing for Fabric and Leather 125ml

I didn't really believe this stuff would work. My boots are not of the really expensive kind and the uppers are suede & webbing with rubber edging. They'd started to let in water after a few months' wear. Bought Nikwax more in hope than expectation. Just cleaned my boots with a brush and water, then sprayed while still wet. Good grief, it works! Even the webbing bits which weren't waterproof when the boots were new. Have been able, therefore, to tramp through the recent Scottish snows with warm, dry feet. Bliss. Thank you.

I bought this for my 3 years old Salmon goretex trekking shoes, quick and easy to use. Wash your shoes with water or product of your choice, let it dry a bit then apply the product according to the instruction - spray them 5-10 cm away and wipe the excess immediately as it gets bit sticky when it dries. Choose your workspace wisely, ideally put the piece of cardboard underneath - don't try it on a carpet or wooden floor.You may need to reapply the product after few rains it gets washed out. It is not as good as DWR surface, but never meant to be.I used to use Nikwax in a past and can't say a bad word about it.

I used this product on some fabric top Skechers. You need to wet your trainers before applying, and they took over a day to dry, but by jingo does this product do its job!I've just spent 4 days in a wet disneyland Paris, with at least 30 hours of direct exposure of rain to my feet, together with stomping in many a puddle. Not once did my trainers let in any water.

Bought to waterproof a new leather handbag. Came out as a white liquid not in a spray form as you would expect from a spray bottle!! It has left run marks all over the bag, not happy at all.To be honest i would have to say if you don't want to ruin anything nice, buy something else.....Update to review.The handbag now has what looks like white mould spots all over it, completely ruined by this product. Am going to talk to Amazon, whilst it is too late to save my bag maybe they can withdraw it to prevent this happening to someone else.....

Very, very good. Sprayed them on my new beige suede Chelsea boots. Water runs off them like a ducks back. Highly recommended.

I've bought Nikwax products for years and this proofing is great but beware, I thought it was non solid wax but what the heck, wax is always a bit sticky for leather gloves and this proofing is not sticky which is great. I did have to spend some time working it in because old wax residues initially prevented the proofing from being absorbed but I persevered massaging it in and eventually succeeded.

This the best waterproofing product for your suede fabric boots. This product really works and lasts it also does not change the colour of your boots like many waterproofing products. I recommend using coating any shoes or boots BEFORE wear in order to avoid them being stained never mind proofing them !

Not impressed dont think i will be getting any more of this as i do a lot of walking on grass my feet were still wet after using this.i followed the instructions on the can which is very small and you need a magnifieing glass to read them,so wouldnt advise anyone to buy this save your money and get waterproof socks from aldi they are great.
