New version is great.
I loved the previous version and put them on all my bikes. I just installed the new version on my new bike and it is even better. I've tried various cruise control/throttle lock devices and this is by far the best; easy to install, easy to use, safe, and blends into the over all look of the bike. If you didn't know, you wouldn't know it wasn't OEM equipment.

If you want the best, this is it
This is the Cadillac of friction-based cruise controls. Exquisite design and machining, outstanding function, and safe automatic release as soon as you apply the brake lever (manual release button as well). I've used a BrakeAway on two bikes now and would not even consider any other throttle grip design.

installed this on my 2012 Stratoliner and love it! looks great and works perfect!

Very pleased with the product
Works well on my '09 Stratoliner. Install was quick. Had to slightly increase the friction on the wheel for it to resist vibrations at highway speeds, but that only involves a set screw adjustment. Very pleased with the product.
