Primetime Petz Hauspanther Maxscratch - Oversized Jute Cat Scratcher & Perch

Very heavy (which is a good thing). Our cats took a while to warm up to it, but now they love it.

My guys took to this monster right away. Sonny wiggles loves the up top perch as she’s part monkey/part cat. Teddy and the rest of the girl gang love this big boy. Nice that the unit unscrews from the base and can be flipped to take advantage of “unused” thisal rope at the lower level of it. Super steady. Wish I had it when my kids were more krazy-kittenish -but with a dusting of catnip my young teens and adults love it!

Easy to assemble. My cat likes sitting on it like a throne. Ropes have held up well. Exactly what I needed

I'm from malaysia, at first I was a bit worried about the product safety and quality besides the expensive price but now i'm satisfied and my 4 cats love it. The scratching post was really big, very tall with sturdy base for max stability except for the perch pad, i hv to use my own double tape and the sharp edges base, I hv to covered it with a piece of cadboard box and yellow tape for safety.

Stylish and my furbaby is always standing on it and scratching it haha. Wish it were less expensive. They know they can get away with it too since other cat scratchers are ugly as heck lol.Note: base is made of two separate, matte wooden slabs.

Even though one corner arrived dinged up and that the base came in two pieces and there are no protectors on the bottom... this is still a really great product!Otherwise... this is heavy duty! Both kitties loved it as soon as I assembled it. And the platform is ideal for sitting at the window!I only wish they made on double the height that could be safely climbed.

My kittens love this. They totally destroyed the regular sized one and kept knocking it over.

The first delivery of this oversized scratching post had missing parts (the screws to fasten the base weren't included); based on its packaging it seemed to be a previously-returned product that had been re-shipped without being checked for completeness. We returned it and asked for a replacement.The replacement arrived fairly soon, and with all the necessary parts -- but its sisal rope wrapping was too loose, causing it to sag and show gaps (see photo). The peel-off adhesive for the round fabric platform on the top of the post didn't separate properly from its backing, so we had to use our own adhesive . Finally, the two-piece base doesn't fit flush, and it has sharp plastic corners and edges that create risk for injury if a human foot bumps into it (same risk for a feline head, but they're more agile than we are . . . . )As we said, "disappointed" is an understatement The only positive comment we can offer is that it's quite large and suitable for long cats. But its design and construction need LOTS of improvement.
