I wanted to like this product but I never got a chance to because the manufacturer sent me the wrong model. This was even after I sent them detailed photos of my setup and they recommended Model A; it ended up being a Model F. Worse still, they said they were sending me the correct model only to renege several days later and try to send me just a different shell! The shell isn't that easy to change and I paid for the correct model, not a modified and hodgepodge version. Its not like I was installing it in a Hyundai... I paid a lot of money for my BMW; I am not about to jury rig something in its interior and possibly ruin the factory warranty of my existing front cam.They told me I can give the wrong model away like it was a benefit but to who... I have no idea what model it would fit! It is therefore useless to me and the time I wasted emailing back and forth, waiting for the replacement that never came... only to have to wait lo longer for a refund is time I'll never get back.Not to mention, all the directions were in broken English and the box and labeling is all in Chinese. News Flash, if you're going to sell to different countries than hire someone state-side to translate and repackage your product for that market.

Received the FiTCAMX in a timely manner. Quality is as good as the BMW X1 panel that’s will be replaced by this dash cam. Installation instructions are straightforward with the exception of the yellow wire no longer needed to be connected. Perhaps updating the instructions will help to avoid confusion. Wiring harness provided is of good quality with good insulation material where it’s needed. This is a true plug-n-play Dashcam! Video quality is quite good for a 1080 resolution. Tech support was quick and straightforward. The App to interact with the Dashcam works flawlessly thus far for what it’s designed to do. Overall, a very good product that looks very OEM!

Great product! I needed a camera that did not draw attention to itself, and this integrated well with my BMW car mirror. Installation was easy, and I can view videos on my phone. Exactly what I was looking for in performance with a clean look. By the way, this company goes the extra mile to make sure you get the right product for your car - excellent customer service!

Our car got hit and as expected no one left a note, so decided to add the camera for added security and also to avoid any traffic problems.The installation was fairly easy, the camera came with the prying tools needed to remove the original mirror housing. It’s snap and go. Plugs in to exiting power harness so no modifications or cutting wires.Took maybe half an hour to download the app, remove old housing and attach the camera.Works perfect.Customer service is great too.

Camera looks like it came from the factory with no wires to route around and to a cigarette port.

Avoid, overseas seller. Both my professional installer and myself were unable to get either of the apps to sync with the FitCamX. I had the installer de install it, ke kindly only charged me half of the fee. No the seller is playing games in processing the return asking for screen shots and Wifi setting. Since the camera was uninstalled it has no power so I keep asking them how it can be troubleshooted now. Really getting the run around. Do yourself a favor avoid at all costs. I’m going to put in a Nexar like I have in myOther cars
